How one accountancy practice went from a 10 year old Wix site to a new site built to book discovery calls, live in 2 weeks
Get a brand that wins clients before you speak
You do brilliant work, and clients rave about you. So why does your website look like you opened last month?
The Brand Refresh is for service businesses tired of being underestimated before the first conversation.
One small thing on the accountant's old website cost them more enquiries than anything else. I'll show you.
Book your discovery callFree, 30 minutes, no obligation.

What it's actually costing you
You may already be thinking, "my work speaks for itself." It absolutely does. Therein lies the problem, because your website is speaking for you (and it's saying something else entirely).
Most people assume a dated website just looks a bit tired. It doesn't. It quietly passes your enquiries on.
- A new client finds youThrough a referral, a search or an AI recommendation.
- Your website undersells youIt looks dated, and there's no clear next step.
- They call whoever looks more establishedAnd you never find out about the ones you lost. That's the invisible loss.
What you can see is everything downstream
- Fewer conversations
- Flatter months
- Growth that depends on whoever happens to find you
And it doesn't get better on its own. It compounds. Every month the site stays as it is, a competitor's site gets the call that should have been yours. A risk you could ignore quietly becomes a running cost.
You've got two options from here. Keep patching a site that undersells you and hope referrals keep carrying you, or spend one focused block of time getting the brand, the site and the enquiries sorted, and then get back to the work you're actually good at.

Dorgan Limited
Dorgan Limited is an accountancy practice in Beckenham, looking after small businesses across South London. The owner's clients have stayed with him for years, but new clients had no way in.
His website, after 10 years on Wix
- The Wix banner still across the top
- A wixsite.com address, not his own domain
- A services page ending in "Nothing to book right now"
A new client had no obvious way to get in touch. So they didn't. And that's what smarts, because The owner was never the problem. His website was.
2 weeksfrom the first discovery call to the new site going live
What changed
- A new websiteOn his own domain, dorganlimited.co.uk, built to AI build standards so search engines and AI assistants can find him, with security and compliance handled
- A lead funnelBuilt around a free 30 minute discovery call
- An enquiry email systemReplies straight away and lands in the right inbox
- Updated logos and a brand guideOne look, used everywhere
- Reusable social media templatesChange the words, keep the look

That small thing I mentioned?
That "Nothing to book right now" box. A page that ended with a dead end. One line of text was quietly turning away every visitor who got that far.
Now picture your own site If a new client landed on it this afternoon, would they know how to start a conversation, or would they quietly close the tab?
Page by page, old and new
OldNew
About page
Before
One short paragraph, two "Founder and Director" boxes, and a Wix banner across the top of every page.
After
A clear promise, "Finance should be straightforward", full team profiles, and a button to start a conversation.
Services page
Before
Twelve services in a centred list, finishing with a booking box that read "Nothing to book right now".
After
Six services explained in plain English, the software they use, answers to common questions and a clear next step.
Clients page
Before
Client names with their web addresses pasted underneath.
After
A "Who we work with" page: who they support, why clients choose them, a real client result and the sectors they serve.
Contact page
Before
A map, a four field form and a Gmail address.
After
A free 30 minute discovery call up front, a form that asks for the right things, and phone and email side by side.
And on a phone, where most enquiries start
Two screen recordings taken on a mobile. On the left, the old Wix site with its banner and no clear way in. On the right, the new site: a clear headline, contact buttons at the top, and a "Let's talk" button that stays on screen on every page. You can see it live at dorganlimited.co.uk.

And the enquiry system, step by step
This is the part a screenshot can't show. Here's what a new client goes through now, from landing on the site to hearing back.

A 15 year firm, name withheld
Maybe you recognise this one. A UK professional services firm with a client track record and book of business going back more than 15 years. Existing clients trusted them completely. New clients were much harder to win.
How one gap led to the next
- The business evolvedFrom a broad mix of support into sharper, more focused services.
- The brand didn't move with itProspects still filed them under what they used to do.
- So they were miscategorisedBefore the first conversation, compared on the wrong things, or passed over altogether.
- No clear story, no proper pipelineNew work depended on whoever happened to find them.
- Which kept revenue flatIt slowed growth, and made it harder to build the capacity to look after the clients they already had.
So we went back to the start:
- Who they're for
- What makes them different
- How a new client should feel
Then we built the whole brand, and the new website, on that.
The shift, side by side
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| Describing the tasks they do | Leading with what clients get |
| A different pitch from every person | One line the whole team can say |
| Visuals chosen post by post | One system for every page and post |
| A website that had fallen behind | A new website, uplifted and updated |
| Guessing what to post next | Content planned around clear themes |
Inside the brand bible
Every page is blurred to protect the client. Here's how much ground it covers.

Monthly maintenance and updates
And you get me every month: the site updated, secure and backed up, your enquiries checked, and changes made when your business changes.
As you settle into your first month with the new brand, you'll notice the shift as people start describing you the way you'd describe yourself.
It all starts with one free call.
Book your discovery callBuilt for how people find you now
You already know more of your future clients are asking ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI answers who to hire. Those tools recommend businesses they can read and trust. That's not a trend to keep an eye on; that's where the enquiries already went.
"AI build standards" is my shorthand for building your site so that you're one of them.
Structured data that tells search engines and AI tools who you are, where you work and what you offer.
Proper page structure, so people and machines can follow each page from top to bottom.
Fast pages, built for phones first, because that's where most enquiries begin.
Accessible design: readable text, sensible contrast and described images.
Plain English copy that answers what clients actually ask: what you do, who for, where, and how to start.
Everything in your name: your domain, your content, your accounts.
Not sure if AI tools can find you? I'll look on the call.

It was a pleasure to work with Caron on my website. She was extremely professional. We had a consultation about how I wanted it to look, my colour scheme and so forth.
Then Caron went away and built it, without me having to be constantly involved. When I saw the first draft I could make adjustments, but there really weren't many to make. She took my brief and ran with it.
Jackie Stewart Founder, Angelee CC
Read that again and put your own name in it. Notice what Jackie doesn't mention. No chasing. No endless rounds of edits. No project that swallowed her month. That's the part clients tell me they didn't expect.
Want a project that runs like that?
Book your discovery callQuestions I get asked
How long does it take?
Two weeks from our discovery call to your new site going live. (That's exactly how long the accountancy practice above took.) To keep to that, I need you to show up for the strategy conversation, complete your deep dive and give your feedback on the first draft promptly, and give me access to your domain. Your 30 days of content and your monthly maintenance carry on after launch.
How much of my time will it take?
You may be thinking, "I don't have time to be involved in a website project." And you're spot on! A badly run one will eat your evenings and your weekends. That's exactly why this one isn't run that way. Most of the work is mine. You show up for one strategy conversation, complete one deep dive and give one round of feedback. That's it.
I already have a logo. Do I need a new one?
Probably not, and I'll tell you if you don't. If your logo still fits where the business is going, we keep it and build the rest of the brand around it. If it's holding you back, I'll show you why rather than just telling you.
My site is on Wix or Squarespace. Is that a problem?
Not a problem, a starting point. One business owner's site sat on Wix for over a decade. What matters isn't the platform you're on now. It's whether the site you end up with is one you own, one that loads fast, and one that tells people how to hire you.
Will I own everything?
Everything in your name: your domain, your content, your accounts. You're never locked into me to keep your own website running.
How does it work?
We start with a free discovery call. We look at what you've got, what it's costing you, and what a refresh would change. Then I'll tell you clearly what it takes to get going, in one number, before you commit to anything.
Is it right for my business?
If you're a service business with a solid reputation and a website that doesn't match it, this was built for you. If you're not sure, ask me on the call. I'll tell you straight if it isn't a fit and point you somewhere better if I know a place.
Got a question that isn't here? Ask me on the call.
